RMLS serves the entire Twin Cities metro area, Saint Cloud, and beyond. In 2012 the Greater Lakes Association (GLAR) MLS in Brainerd merged with RMLS. In early 2009, the Saint Cloud MLS joined RMLS and suspended operation of its independent Multiple Listing Service. In 2019, the 200 members of the Itasca County Board of REALTORS in Grand Rapids merged their listings with Northstar and discontinued their independent, tiny multiple listing service.
The MLS that serves this part of Minnesota is called Regional Multiple Listing Service of Minnesota RMLS. The MLS also goes by many nicknames, like Northstar, Matrix, Minneapolis MLS, Saint Paul MLS, Brainerd MLS, St Cloud MLS, MLS Co-op, Regional MLS, Twin Cities MLS, Western Wisconsin MLS, Minnesota MLS, Grand Rapids MLS, Hennepin County MLS, Bloomington MLS, etc.
