Did you know that once you list with us, agents are no longer allowed to solicit you to list with them? Once you are listed, it is against the MLS rules, state real estate license rules, and Realtor code of ethics to contact a seller in an active listing agreement, unless the agent has a legitimate buyer for the property. In the unlikely event an agent does contact you, simply stating that you are currently in an active listing agreement will get them off the phone very quickly! Otherwise, the agent could face fines or license/membership suspension.
This does not restrict agents calling you that have a legitimate buyer who wants to view your home, of course, and you can expect those "I have a buyer who would like to view your home" inquiries to rise substantially once you list.
